EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Lois Bronz Children’s Center individualizes curriculum based on observation and in-depth assessment of each child. The curriculum s designed to address all areas of competency including: language, cognitive social/emotional and physical development. The heart of our educational program is the continuous growth and learning of each child. Literacy is an integral component of our curriculum and daily activities at the center. Full Day Program: For toddlers (beginning at 18 months old) and pre-schoolers from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Friday
School Age Enrichment Program: Before and after-school, school closings, holidays & summer camp for children ages 6 to 12
Stepping Stones Program: NYS certified special education preschool for children with special needs
Nutritious Meals: Included are breakfast, hot lunch and two snacks
Health: Nurse on site; hearing and vision screening; health education
Arts and Music: Integrated into the curriculum for all children, enhanced by visiting artists through the Westchester Arts Council and the Music Conservatory of Westchester
Swimming, Tennis & Gymnastics: Rotating lessons and activities in partnership with the Theodore Young Community Center, United Tennis Association and White Plains YWCA
